Park Avenue Mansion
This consulate is located on the Pyne-Davison blockfront, composed of 4 Federal Revival residences. The mansion was designed by Walker & Gillette from 1916 to 1917. The main entrance is flanked by 2 Ionic columns. The front door recalls Georgian styles and forms. In 1970 the Landmark Preservation declared this a historical building of the city of New York. The rooms are gracious, the entrance and elliptical staircase grand…reminiscent of another era. Exquisite architectural detailing as well as beautiful light make this location ideal for PR events, feature films, or photo shoots. In addition, a terrace runs the length of the mansion.
